Prom

It is late on a Sunday evening. This particular Sunday followed a Saturday that was supposed to be the pinnacle of any high school social scene. The Senior Prom. I am glad that I went, I was escorted by a great friend of mine, and we had good time. Still it is hard to sit at home on the Sunday following such a day, and not wonder about if the day was really "worth it". Don't get me wrong, again I say that I am very glad that I went. There is such a build up for a day that goes by so quickley. The amound of money and stress surrounding this priviledged event astounds me! Maybe I'm a cynic, but I am a firm believer that the high school prom is highly overrated.

College

Tangent off of my last "Senioritis" post. (Tangent...Calculus is beginning to take over my brain!) Anyway, I am so excited about college in the fall. I am currently in the process of choosing my dorm and filling out my roomate information. WOW, it makes me feel old and "all grown up". I am excited about this major change in my life, but it definately will be different. A lot different.

Beginnings

It's mid-April, and finally SPRING! I know that MN is known for its winters, but honestly! Snow in April. What kind of mean trick has God been playing on us? Along with the wonderful weather, a bout of "Senioritis" has come my way. Yes, I am ready to finish this year, and move on from my high school days. Think Spring- Not Senioritis!
